This treaty is between Great Britain and the United States. It was signed at Hotel d'York on September 3, 1783 by Adams, Jefferson, Jay, Franklin, and Hartley. This was made to acknoledge the USA as a free country, establish boundaries between the United States and British North America, grant fishing rights to American fishermen, release prisoners of war from both sides, and give both countries access to the Mississippi River.
